Scarecrow competition

We'd like to invite any individual, family or group to combine their DIY and creative skills in a Scarecrow competition as part of this year's Festival.

Entries will be displayed around the village in the week leading up to the Festival (i.e. from Sunday 12th July) and the winners will be announced during the Fete on the Saturday afternoon.

Your scarecrow can be any size and shape. We only ask that all entries be suitable for public display!

We've found some Scarecrow pictures online and displayed them here to give your creative minds some inspiration – but we don't want to see any copycats!

It's free to enter, but please register with Charlie Stratford to get your special Red, Green and Blue Festival Scarecrow ribbons in the Festival colours, so that no scarecrow entries are missed by the judges.

The closing date for entries is Saturday 11th July.
