A great way to start Sunday and lose that hangover! – Everyone welcome.

A rounders competition has been held in the village annually for over 20 years and is now included as an event in the Warborough and Shillingford Festival weekend.

It is essentially a friendly match encouraging families, friends and neighbours, groups who work together or have strong village connections to form teams to play against each other.

A mixed team consists of no more than 5 men (males over 16) but there is nothing stopping an all female team!

We would like to encourage children to join the adult's teams, rather than play a children's league, although we did have one children's team – so they played every adult team too!

The emphasis is on friendly rivalry and having fun!!
