Over a number
of years the Festival has raised money for worthy causes in
the village, particularly to support the pre-school and toddlers
groups, and the older members of the village.
Over the last couple of years, however,
our main focus has been to raise sponsorship for Helen House.

Helen House is situated in the Cowley
Road, Oxford, and was the first children's hospice in the
world. It is funded entirely from charitable donations, and
offers palliative care to children and young people with life-limiting
illness, together with support to the whole family.
whilst the sponsorship of Batticaloa now
means that Helen House is not our nominated charity, it does
provides a fantastic facility, both for helping the child
achieve the very best quality of life, and for supporting
the family who have to cope at a time of suffering and stress.
On behalf of the Warborough Festival
it is a privilege to have been associated with Helen House
and to have made some small contribution to their fantastic
work. We wish them every success in the future.
